    Vaccines for Helper

    Hi all,

We are looking into hiring a helper, and I'd like to make sure she is vaccinated against certain things, since we're expecting a baby. She has agreed to this.

Does anybody know which vaccines are given at birth in the Phils? Or at least which vaccines she is likely to have already had? The helper is nearing 40 years of age, so vaccination rules may well have changed since she was a child.

For now, I was just planning on a flu shot and the DTaP booster.

    Thanks.

This is the current immunization schedule for Babies in the Philippines.

According to the Adult schedule you can have to DTAP booster every 10 yrs.

I would speak to your Dr and see if it's really necessary.

    Good luck!
