Advice on looking for short-term Part-time helper
Hello,
My wife is spending time with her family in HK and will be there until the end of September. My wife wants me to look for a helper but I am from the US and the closest thing I've experienced with a helper is hiring a babysitter which is usually one of our neighbor's high school/college son or daughter.
From what I have been reading here and on HK's government webpage about domestic helpers there are various working rates and allowances you have to provide and the contract period is two years.
I'm not sure if it's possible to hire someone for just a month and if it is would anyone be able to tell me the going rate for someone just three times a week for a month.
Would I also have to provide insurance and such for a PT helper?
Thanks.

A helper to help with what? Presumably your wife is staying in a hotel or with family so she doesn't need someone to cook or clean for her.
