Combined Induction? What does this mean?
Hi everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your Monday afternoon.
I am 40+5 weeks overdue and has been scheduled for an induction at QMH. I didn't quite understand the doctor at my last appt and am hoping some of you who have been induced due to being overdue could help shed some light.
My papers say:
Thursday: Admit K9S
Friday: Combined induction
What does this mean? A friend of mine who was induced earlier than her due date was given the vaginal pill. However I am reading older threads that say they put you directly on pitocin and rupture your membranes. I have already started to dilate and cervix is soft. Perhaps some of you can share your experience?
Thank you in advance! Happy week to all of you!
