Is anyone planning to buy a wipe warmer for winter babies? I am still debating getting one or just using warm water to wet the wipes each time. :-)

I know a mum who used one, but I never bothered. For the first couple of months I used cotton pads in warm water. It was recommended not to use commercial wipes on baby's skin for the first little while, and if you use cotton you've soaked yourself, it's better to have fresh warm water rather than the same water sitting there heating.

@Aprilbuddy, my friend has one and she says as soon as you take the wipe out of the container it cools off, so no point. I agree with k.kong, it's best to use cotton wipes with warm water, don't get the packaged wipes. friend's recommendation.

Thanks for the feedback! That's good to know. So I will get Soft touch dry wipe and warm it with warm water (guess I will need to buy a thermo for the nursery station). :-)

If you don't want to buy the breast pumps you can rent them at celki they have several shops on hk including one in Melbourne plaza . You only need to buy the bottles and things you put on your breasts (brain freeze sorry can't remember the term) . I rented the one they use at the Matilda for 3 months for under 2000 and they have other models as well. I enjoyed getting rid of it when I was done !

I agreed and have already plan so, I will buy a plastic box to hold the giant square cotton pad and a plastic cup to soak in warm water, fresh, no messy and feel good to the skin, no cold wet wipes on the bottom even I want to cry out if I was a baby.

Thanks wilkette46 for the rental of breast pumps at Celki if they have any other stores in the Island side as live in the Eastern district.
