The Consumer Council recently tested and found faulty baby strollers on sale around Hong Kong. The council tested 19 strollers and found seven did not meet European Union safety standards. Some did not meet the US safety standards.

The faulty models risk folding up suddenly (due to faulty locks), trapping your tots' fingers or toes, or had parts that could easily be "bitten off" by babies (and thus present a choking hazard).

7 models that failed the Consumer Council's test:
  • Combi's Urban Walker Classic
  • Capella's S-706
  • Aprica's Karoon Plus
  • Peg-Perego's Book Plus Sportivo
  • Britax's B-Smart
  • Britax's Affinity
  • Chicco's Trio Living Smart
