Severe nausea , options
Hi All
So wife is 7 weeks pregnant and has severe nausea and vomiting
She is already in a private hospital getting IV fluids.
Now the problem is that she is vomiting 5-6 times a day even without getting anything by mouth
And our insurance would not cover any further stay in hospital
Due to the waiting times in public sector she does not want to go public ( is latest quite disturbed by the nausea) We live on tung Chung
I am in a tough situation and wondering what are my options
She will be discharged tomorrow. But I am thinking. That if this continues , we might have to seek help
Can we somehow arrange IV fluids at home ( have 2 kids at home already and she can't be way for long )?
Or would any public hospital let us get the fluids I'm outpatients and then let us go home without the excessive wait ? Any experiences ?
Also she is getting Maxlon injections , any particular medicine that might help ?
Thanks a million for the help
