English speaking local Confinement helper (Pui Yuet)
Hello Everyone,
My partner and I decided to hire a part-time Pui Yuet to help after the arrival of our first child because we do not have a domestic helper or family can help. We need someone have experience take care of new born (helped with bath, nappy changes, burping, sterilizing, and comforting the baby ) and we are also interested in trying the traditional Chinese post-natal food too. We are looking for someone very flexible and understanding that as Westerner there are some traditions I am not going to follow (e.g, not washing hair and shower)
I tried to contact Smart Baby Care Scheme. But seems they have difficulty find one for us.
Does any one have recommendations ? Thanks a lot

Check out on Sassy Mamma a post by Sabrina. She 's an acquaintance and had a baby boy in 2014. She also went the pui yuet route.
