do we need to bring urine sample for first antenatal appointment
I'm going the public route and when I called, I'm 99% sure the nurse booking me didn't say anything about needing to bring a urine sample. She just said to bring proof of address and to not worry if I wanted to eat breakfast before coming in. However the government website here
Family Health Service - Maternal Health
makes it sound like we're supposed to bring our own urine sample in for each antenatal visit. Is that true? Thanks for any info you can provide

Yes you're supposed to bring your own urine. In the olden days we carried those plastic film roll containers. Think you can just collect it when you get there too. So bring a container and just pee when you get there.

Thanks! What kind of container should I bring? I'm guessing anything small with a lid? It seems like it'd be easier if they just provided it there.
