Moving to HK and giving birth
Hi, everyone!
Me, my husband and my 2,5 year old daughter are planing to move to Hong Kong this summer.
But I will be 30 weeks pregnant by then. We are planing to live in Tsing Yi and I am thinking to give birth at Princess Margarette Hospital .
I’ve got millions of questions and I am hoping that someone of you have some expertise to help me figure it out.
So here is my list:
1. Do I need to have HK ID or can I pre- register at the hospital with my passport ?
As I am hoping to register as soon as I arrive because at that stage every week counts )))
2. Can anyone recommend an private obstetrician in Tsing Yi area ?
3. Can anyone recommend a real estate agent to rent an apartment in that area ?
4. Can anyone recommend an English speaking kindergarten for my 2,5 year old daughter in Tsing Yi? Maybe there are options in a medium price range as 80k hk$ a year seems like quite a lot!!!
5. I’ll be looking for some sort of part time cleaner and helper to look after my daughter from time to time after I give birth to my second child.
Does anyone have an idea where can I find one , sites, links or recommendation will be very helpful.
Any respond will be really appreciated!!!
