I am 11 weeks pregnant and would like to take up yoga or pilates during pregnancy. However, so far I have only been able to find classes designed for pregnant women that are held during the daytime on weekdays. There must be lots of other pregnant women with a full-time jobs! 5 to 6pm at the YWCA is still too early for me - can't normally get away from work until 7pm.

The Celestial Wishing Tree have a class on Mondays at 6pm in Central. Do you think you could leave work a little earlier on Mondays?

The other option is lunch time. They have a class at 12:15 too.

Thanks Rani. Unfortunately I have daily deadlines that have to be met before I can leave work, but I spotted an 8pm session at Pure Yoga which looks promising. Still would be interested in other options that people know about.

I heard that SachYoga will be starting evening classes in August too.

Thanks Rani. By the way, I went to a Yin yoga class at Pure Yoga tonight. If anyone else is keen on going, be warned that the room is quite hot (they do Hot yoga before the Yin class) so dress lightly, take a big bottle of water, and try to get a seat by the door which might be slightly cooler. You need to tell the instructor you're pregnant because they didn't ask. Apparently the morning classes are cooler because they don't have the Hot class beforehand.
