I moved to DB 1 week ago with my partner and 11 month old little girl.

Hi Samm, my name is Cristina. my husband and I are considering to move to DB with our 2 years old son.
Do you like living there? Are you a working mom?
Has been easy for you to meet other moms?
At the moment we are staying in Admiralty in a service apartment. We saw some very nice apartments but I am not sure about the location. I am not working at the moment and I am looking to move to a place kid friendly but I do not want to live in an isolated area.
Can you share with me your experience?

Sorry for the late response, I haven't been on here for a while.

DB is a great place if you have children, it is a popular place with expats.
I've been here for couple of months now and beginning to make friends.

Not sure if you've been to look at DB but there are lots of parks,a beach and a plaza with restaurants, a supermarket and shops which is very handy.
The only problem I have found is that there isn't much choice for activities for 1's and under, but as your child is 2 that shouldn't be a problem.

Are you still in DB? Have you managed to set up a meetup group, if so I would like to join. I have a 15months old daughter and I am a full time mom so I can be available for coffee / tea / just hang out at the plaza to let our kids play together.
