Hello!

    Hi,

I am also a first time mum. Aged 38. Due on June 19th. I live in Fortress Hill (North Point) and work part time at HKU in Pokfulam. I'd be quite interested in doing pregnancy yoga. Does that appeal? My e-mail is [email protected]

    Hi Ladies,

I'm not sure if you are aware, but there is another forum discussion called something like "Mums due June 2011" or something similiar - I have recently found out about it and am intending to make it to the next catch-up.

I find this site a wee bit hard to navigate around, but it you look at my profile and my forums (if you can do that) - you should be able to find it that way, if you are having trouble finding it.

I am due on 5 June with my first bub - can't believe how time is flying by. Our bubs are going to be here before we know it.... eeek!

I was also thinking about starting pregnancy yoga but haven't got myself organised yet... in the meantime, happy to catch up for a coffee or smoothie:)

    Cheers,

    Brooke

    Hi Brooke,

Thanks! Have joined the Mums due in June 2011 forum instead!

If you fancy yoga, I ended up joining Pure Yoga in Causeway Bay last week. They do 4 pre-natal yoga classes a week: Tues 7:30pm, Wed 1pm, Fri 1pm and Sun 11am. I went to Friday 1pm last week and it was good (though ached all weekend afterwards!) The teacher did lots of squats and also pelvic floor exercises and leg strengthening etc - all good birth preparation. She'd also had a baby recently, so I think she knows what she's talking about! I actually hate yoga (much prefer running, cycling and swimming etc) but am forcing myself to do it as I know it's good for me!

More than happy to meet up for coffee/smoothie too.

    Hi Everyone,
I'm due 1st july with my first, really excited about it. I live in the New Territories but am hoping to give birth at the Matilda (if I get a place!)
I went to a trial class of prenatal yoga last weekend at Pure Yoga in Mongkok. Thought it was good but the price is quite high if like me you can only attend 1 class per week. Think I'll carry on swimming, gym, running etc to stay in shape instead.
