Question about kindergartens
Can anyone suggest a good kindergarten in the Kowloon Tong area 9or nearabouts) that charges around 4000 a month. My daughter is 2 and I want to send her to a kindergarten for 3 hours a day, five days a week. It needs to be a school that accepts 2 year olds. It also needs to be an English one. Thanks

our son went to anfield and really enjoyed it. the class sizes are small and the children get to experience a lot of different things without the pressure. there is an outdoor play area in the front as well as back of the school. this school is primarily an english speaking school. they have somebody sing songs to the students in mandarin for 20 minutes once a week.
some of the other schools mentioned in the previous response are primarily chinese speaking with english influence. it really depends on what you want and whether or not you want native english speakers to tutor your children. at this age it is mainly learn by playing. our son went on to the tsing yi esf kindergarten.
good luck.

Hi bellybutton,
which class did your son attend? Do you remember name of the teacher? There is very little info around on Anfield. I've visited the school, although it is a bit old for the fees it charges, the staff seem quite friendly and the principal is very experienced.
would appreciate any comments from moms who have attended the school.

Kentville, St. Catherine, Yorks and St. Nicolas are only accepting 3 yrs old. They are using Cantonese as medium and very local, which means homeworks everyday. Tutor Time, Kingston, Anfield and Yew Chung are English Medium. They accept 2 yrs old, and IB concepts. Cannan, Keenmind and creative accept 2 yrs old but cantonese medium. You must check with each school about enrollment dates because they fill pretty quickly and enrollment starts a year earlier.
