No worries!
Hello,
I've heard a lot of moms in Hong Kong worried that their children will not develop socially if they are not in playgroups, pre-school or other group activities at a young age. While these things are all great, for moms who cannot arrange these things, put your minds at ease, there will be no adverse affects on your children. I was raised in Canada and our kindergarten does not start until children are age 5 (or turning 5 that year). I personally was taught kindergarten at home and I still turned out to be a social butterfly! And being at home with my mom, who taught me one on one, actually put me at a higher educational level than my peers. So, no worries. Once kids get to kindergarten, they'll have lots of time to socialize and learn how to interact with others!
