    Mandarin Playgoups?

My daughter is presently attending the Woodlands Montessori ( in Midlevels) with me and is really enjoying it! Come May she will be staring to go without me :(
She will be 2 1/2 and I would love to have her start learning Mandarin. Something one or two days a week. Could anyone give me some ideas of places to contact? Neither my husband nor myself speak it but since we are here and thier brains are little spunges what a waste not to learn!!
    Thanks for any info!

    Hannah,

The YWCA have a couple of Mandarin playgroups this term. We did it last term and it was a lot of fun. Its run by Yifan Mandarin and Kate is great with little ones.

    Hi,
I'm also interested in classes for my 3 year old son. Does anyone know of anywhere that would be suitable, preferable that I can join in and learn as well. We would have to come over from Discovery Bay, but don't mind if the class is great.

    Thanks

    Jools

    Mandarin

    Hi,

My son has been going to a Mandarin Playgroup since he was 1 year and 7 months. He is little over 2 now and can understand it pretty well and also name objects. My husband and I don't speak a word of it.

We sent him to learn at Beijing Mandarin Ltd. which is located in Queen's Road East, opposite Paciaifc Place 3. The teachers are very good there, and my son really enjoys his once a week class. If you are interested their number is: 2865 1660.
