1st B-day party - present??
My twin daughters have been invited to a 1st B-day party.
The thing is, I am a working mom and I've never met this baby nor the baby's parents, so I have no idea what they are like.
Can anyone give me any idea for present to bring (the baby is a girl) that would be 'safe'??
I do not want to get any toys because she might already have same/similar things, and I do not want to get any outfit because they might have different taste from mine.
Any ideas???

Books make great gifts. We've got a large selection of board books on ShopinHK.
Have a look here:

i know you said you'd prefer not to get toys but i got some bath toys from Toys r'us for someone's boy and they are for age 12months and he just loves them!
books are also a great idea. we don't let our 5mnth daughter watch tv, and it's hard to beleive but she really really loves books and when we read some to her. she loves ones we read, cloth ones, board books.. you name it, she loves them.
good luck!
