Alphabet Cards
Where can I buy simple alphabet cards. I want them to be fairly large. If I do them myself, which font should I use in Microsoft Word?
Thanks!

There are plenty out there but I didn't find any that I like in A4 size. So, I downloaded from the baby bumblebee freebies section and laminate them.
Works very well for me. Check it out.

Hi run4fun,
Thanks for sharing the link. It's really great. I make my own vocab cards w/o all those fancy pictures. I just stick the word "door" on the door =)
Hi Mrs Momo,
When I make my flash cards, I always use Comic Sans MS. The only reason is the small letter "a." Well, that depends on how you want your child to write the "a."
When I went to Montessori workshop, I was told to teach the child one thing at a time. If you want your child to concentrate on the alphabets, use normal looking fonts i/o one of those artistic ones which could be hard to read.

Hi spsmok,
That's very cute -- sticking the word "door" on the door. You know what? I have a friend (also a Montessori teacher) who did just the same thing. His house is full of labels everywhere and it drives you nuts. His son is only 4, but he could read and spell many words -- it is amazing. I think you are on the right track.
