We have a regular group meeting on Thursday at 4:00 pm of every week at the Starbuck at Cyberport. I think either Rani or Genro will be there.

    Hi Chipmama

    thanks so much for replying!
    how old is your baby?
do you attend the gathering regularly?
do you stay in The Belcher's?

    Hi Dal,

I am from Singapore too with a 14+ mth old boy. I have been here for 8 yrs. And I stay near Conduit road, about 10 mins drive from Belchers. Let me know if you plan to go central for walk walk or coffee. Are you working?

    Hi Gina

So happy to hear from you, a fellow Singaporean too!
Wow, 8 years is a long time and I am sure you are very familiar with HK already.

    I am not working.
    How about yourself?
Are you taking care of your kid or do you have a domestic helper?
I am currently taking care of my baby without any helper and would love to know of places that are baby friendly where I can bring my baby along.

Of course it will be great to meet up for drinks.
    Let's arrange soon!

    Hi, Dal!

My baby just turned 4 months old on Tuesday of this week. I attended the gathering last week and quite a number of moms were there too. Sorry, i don't stay at Belcher's but I stay in Chi Fu which is just off PokFuLam!

I can't go this week for the gathering so I will see you sometimes next week then if you are planning to go!

    Take care,

    Maria

    Hi mums !

I'm from Singapore too and I've got a baby girl. She turns 6 months today. I have been in HK for almost 2 years. It's tough taking care of a baby with no mum or MIL to help out, not forgetting the air pollution and the rather baby-unfriendly HK.

I've recently got a helper but it's a bit too early to trust her with my baby totally yet. But I do leave the baby with her for about an hour or so while I have my 'time-off'.

    Hi Chipmama

May I know if Chi Fu is near The Belcher's?
It would be great if we can meet beforehand to go Cyberport together.

Do the mums bring their babies along for the gathering?
I would love to do so, but provided the rest are doing so, but on the other hand, I am also worried that my baby will fuss when it comes to his nap time...hee...

    Hi Pieces74

I share your sentiments regarding the lack of help and air pollution in HK!

My husband and I are also considering whether to hire a full time or part time maid. Just like you, I am also worried to leave my baby alone with the maid. There are just too many instances where I noticed that the maids are busy chatting or smsing on their phones and the kids are left to play on their own.

By the way, do you happen to know of any contact for part time maids?
