Any comment on Alison's Lettleland Chird Care Center
I am now looking for a international pre-school for my 2 years old son. Is anyone's kids are studying or used to studied in Lettleland? Can anyone give me some comment on this school. My son has just try the trial lesson last week.

The teachers were very nice and aware of my son when he attended the school. The facilities are very small and as a teacher myself I would not rate them as highly as somewhere like Sunshine House. The Woodlands Schools also have a great reputation but for two nearly three year old children they are required to attend five mornings which I think is terrible. Good Luck with the decision.

I took my daughter to a trial class there a few months ago. The teacher was great -- she kept the little ones busy and engaged them in a very positive way. My daughter enjoyed the class a lot.
On the downside, I noticed that of the 15 kids that were in the class, there were 5 that were visibly sick (runny nose, coughing, etc.). I was surprised these kids were allowed to stay in the class the whole time (I've been to other playgroups where the policy for sick kids is implemented more strictly). Unfortunately, my daughter got ill the day after attending the class, and I can't help but think she must have caught the cold from going to the school!

once a child begins attending playgroups/school, incidences of getting sick go up astronomically. many parents send their children to school even though they are sick.this is true of most schools and it isn't the school's fault, the fault lies with the parents. but also, many childhood illnesses are contageous BEFORE the symptoms appear.

Ali100, peace and carang,
Thanks for your comments. As I am living in Lamtin - Kowloon area, Sunshine and Woodland are too far away from home, is there any similar pre-school that's located in the city that can recommend?
Ali100, is your son now studying in Alison letterland?:bighug

My son is presently enrolled there and seems to enjoy it very much. Teachers are very friendly, the sessions are relatively structured, and the kids are encouraged to touch, feel, play, and interact which I feel is important at this stage.

Fly,
Thanks for your feedback. How old is your kid? What group is your kid attending - e.g. Minnie Miouse? Per Peace, kids are always sick in the school. Don't you find it the same during your observation?

Did anyone try the free trial in Tuen Mum?? Is the location easy to find?? My daughter is quite active , me and my hubby mostly prefer she'd enjoy all her playgroups, everytimes when I found the playgroup is just like as school, quite bored. Really looking for something more interesting and fun for her.
