    Hiya,

Do they have to be in Stanley?? My 3 year old did ballet at Kids Gallery in Coda Plaza Central. She loved the classes but had to stop due to change in hours at school. If you find anything closer to home do let me know as mine would love to start again and we live at Repulse Bay.

My daughter is very happy with her ballet lessons at,

    Carol Bateman School of Dancing
The Helena May, 35 Garden Road, Central.
    Tel: 2525 3751 Fax: 2525 3798

She started in their ‘babies’ class when she was three years old.

    Kid Gallery

My daughter (3.5 yrs old) goes to Kid Gallery as well. She is enjoying herself tremendously. During her trial class, she simply walks in without any separation anxiety.

That is a much more sane and fun school than the Jean Wong franchise, in general terms. But if you want your child to have the best chance of winning a scholarship to the Royal Ballet school, then go for Jean Wong as she pushes her students hard towards such goals.

Agreed that Jean M Wong is a bit too much for younger, maybe wait just a couple years. The previous recommendation for Kid's Gallery is a good choice to get your child started. It's MOST important at this age not to push them, as you could eventually push them AWAY from enjoying it. This often happens with music so be careful. Carol Bateman is also an excellent choice, but again, best to wait until later.
