Mandarin classes at Earth Village
I have recently visited Earth Village at Universal Trade Centre. It seems to have a pretty good approach helping kids to acquire decent level of Mandarin. I am torn between sending my daughter to ESF and supplement her Mandarin with after school classes or send her to KCIS/Victoria Shanghai.
Will appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I just visited Earth Village as well and I like their concept very much - A complete mandarin program from K1 to P6. However, my DH posted a valid concern...The concept is good but how do we know their program/teacher is good?
Anyone has experience with them? Are there other centres on HK island offer similar curriculum/concept?

They are in the Universal Trade Centre on Caine Road. No, I don't think they have a website.

I've friends that send their children to Earth Village as their kids are studying in esf schools and they are quite satisfied with it. My girl is attending esf P1 this sept and I want to find her mandarin class after school as well but find Earth Village a bit far from home. Does anyone know of another mandarin school like Earth Village in HK island such as Causeway Bay?

THere is one in an old building on Leighton Road, called Beijing Language School or something along that line. It's in the building next to Leighton Centre, above the frozen meat shop. They are more into 1 on 1 teaching I think. Worth checking that out.

Thanks mailmail. Do you have the contact info about the mandarin school in Leighton Road that you mentioned? The location is good as I live in North Point mid-levels. Would like to check it out.
