pregnant and moving to HK.
:crib :crib hi everyone,
i have been reading the varies questions posed on this web site and their answers for the last few weeks. Thanks a ton for all that information. My family and I are moving to Hong Kong in April 2007. I'm due in late June, and there is so much that i need to work out.
Would anyone suggest a good gynae ob who is associated with Canossa. Anyone has a clue as to if they are full up on bookings?
I would be visiting HK for a week in the third week of March and would like to meet the doc and work the hospital details out.
Any suggestion and guidance is most welcome.
Thanks

Hi Smrit,
Welcome to HK! Here are a few names of Drs that deliver at Canossa:
Dr Eric Lee
Dr Phillip Ho
Dr Derek Lo
You can search the forums for reviews by members. Their contact details are listed in the GeoBaby directory

Would email the hospital regarding bookings. From what we've heard they require a $20K deposit

Smriti, this year the hospitals are quite booked already, it being the year of the golden pig (very auspiciuos for the Chinese). Why don't you get in touch with Adventist and Sanatorium also for reservations. Maybe you can call them and get a list of GYNs from them itself (and then look them up on the net). I don't think at this time you can be picky regarding the hospitals.
Good luck! Wish I could help more....:cheerlead Almost time!!!!!!
