    Active Baby Bjorn - Breastfeeding

The active baby bjorn is stated to allow breastfeeding of the baby while baby is in the carrier. Can anyone share her experience as to whether this feature is user-friendly? Thanks

I tried a few times and failed; I just can't see how it's possible without removing most of the carrier straps first, and by then you're all tangled up so you just take the damn thing off anyway.

I managed to feed my 2 month old in my Ergo the other day - just slacken all the straps and he feeds in the upright position. Not sure if that will continue to work as he grows taller..

For us that was a really hypothetical feature - never ever worked and got baby so upset that he wouldn't feed in the end!! But I do have friends who swear by it..so maybe just me!!

Never managed it either. Th eonly thing I could imagine is that you could use it to partly cover up, but it still would not work as well as a muslin or blanket.

I never figured it out either. I think perhaps those Maya slings will work better. I've seen lots of moms in the US use those for breastfeeding.

Thanks for all your input. It did seems rather cumbersome to me and was wondering whether I was the only dense one!!
