    Solid food

Hey mommies out there, just want to know when or which time of the day is best to feed applesauce to my almost 6 months old baby. I have started him cereal a week ago, once a day for 2-3 spoons. Today he had twice, one in the a.m was made diluted and one at 5.30pm, more solid or sticky, then i gave him 3 baby spoons of applesauce. An hour later he will have 4 oz of milk then bed time. Is this too much for a 6 months old? or i should just give him cereal once a day till he is over 6 months or after his 6 months jab?

thanks for your answer in advance.

you can give him applesauce, and other cooked fruits, like mashed pear. it's not too much, just make sure you introduce one new food no more than every 3 to 4 days. i used to introduce new food every week.

Thanks Joannek! That means i can give at either am or pm for the next 3-4 days, right? Is it ok to give him mashed potato since he has already having cereal for a week?
