Angeline, thanks for the suggestion to meet somewhere more central for those of us living out in the east
fshah, love the idea about getting coffee and head to the outdoor playground, great for my son as he's quite energetic and if there's space to run around and burn off some steam (angeline probably agrees with me) while we watch, chat and sip a cuppa - sounds just divine!
If QB park is confirm, can someone pls give detailed directions? I know where City Plaza is as we were staying at Kornhill Apartments for a month but haven't seen the park before.
Looking forward to it!

Happy new year ladies.
Hi fshah, thanks for suggestion, quarry bay park sounds perfect.
Snowbird, i totally agree with giving the boys some physical activity!
Tried looking up park on the map and the park i found also has tennis courts, a basketball court and a football pitch. exit D1 of Taikoo Station. Can someone confirm this is the one?
Shall we meet there at 3pm tomorrow afternoon? so far I believe the following are joining:
- Snowbird +toddler
- Fshah + (?)
- Jaz1311 + baby
- Aili + baby
- kiki123
- angeilin + toddler
- sandytan (?)
Anyone I missed out?
Looking forward to it !

Happy 2009 everyone!
Yaay! I'm finally getting to meet you lot! :D 3pm is perfecto!
Its gonna me & my 11mth old.
Actually although the website mentioned its in Quarry Bay Park, But its waaaaay across (a road across) from all the courts/pitch.. its actually nearish the harbour instead. Its very much easier if you exit from TaiKoo - CityPlaza exit, once you get out of the mtr (you'd see M&S & G2000) walk across that level all the way where the iceskating rink is (you'd past Pacific Coffee on your way so you can grab that coffee..), on the very far end you'd see a chinese restaurant (Jade i think im so sorry i walk past it a million times bt didnt take note) keep walking into this sortof indoor bridge walkway beside the restaurant and walk all the way till you see a stairs going down.. walk down the stairs & turn to your right, you'd see the playground. Sounds like a looong walk, actual not that :)
Either that, or we could meet at the MTR station if you guys prefer or at Pacific Coffee on level 2 (level where you get out of the mtr station) & we can walk towards the playground together.

Happy NY girls,
sounds great! If I'm late for any reason - actually only reason if Joshua wakes up late from his nap - I'll call Angeline and take the directions from there but kinda know what Fshah is saying just haven't walked passed Jade before but shouldn't think its too hard.
See you all real soon!
p/s - Pekkie, sorry to miss you again!!
