    hi all

I just wanted to recommend these guys. We went along yesterday to our first minisport/soccertots session and it was fabulous. The classes are for 2-5 year olds and sessions are held every day.

We went to the Stanley Ho venue, which was outside, am not sure about the other venues. The coaches are great fun, enthusiastic and the kids LOVE them. My usually shy almost-3-year-old had a fantastic time.

I wanted to recommend them and post their details because even though I had heard of them I never had any luck finding their website when googling - then I had a flyer in my letterbox (hoorah)!

Hi KatBoo, thanks for the recommendation. I had thought about trying out a session for my 3-y-o daughter too. Do you know if there is any (convenient) parking at the Stanley Ho venue? I emailed playsport.com.hk, but they weren't very helpful is this regard. Thanks.

We tried Socatots at Playsport a few years ago when D was 3 and we didn't enjoy it. The 3-6 years were grouped together and there was no way the little ones could get the ball from the older kids. We didn't go back. The Socatots organized by the Brazilian Soccer League is much better.

Maybe they've re-organised things since then.

They definitely have a 2-5 year old programme now, which is a good age to group together as the littlies have a sort of hero-worship of the older ones, also there are plenty of balls for all and the exersizes were all 'team' focused where everyone got a turn.

Obviously we've only been to the one session, but first impression was a good one.

Yes, there is parking at Stanley Ho - undercover carpark in fact. There are lots of different venues where they operate but not sure about Sai Kung, check out the website.

I notice from the Socatots site that you posted Rani, they group from 3-6 years....so if the older (age 6) kids is the problem it would be the same here.

We ended up going to the YWCA and classes are all the same age.
