Swaddling wraps
We are expecting the second one to come along in early June and currently looking to buy some swaddling wraps. I last time I bought some really cute ones at Mothercare which had a dragflies on them and they were cotton - this was two years ago for my little girl. I went back yesterday but they only had thick ones and also wool ones. Does anyone know where I can get cute cotton wraps as I need lightweight ones for the summer. Thanks !

I bought the Miracle blanket from Mothercare and I find it's the most effective swaddling blanket - esp if your baby kicks a lot! Unfortunately it only comes in plain colours in cotton so it's not very cute, but it is extremely functional. They're made of highly breathable and stretchy cotton - for summer, it recommends that you swaddle with the baby in a diaper.

I've seen a variety of lightweight wraps in Bumps to Babes lately.

The Grobag cotton swaddles are great! I got some with prints from Annerley Midwives.

For the really light wraps (which I love!) Spotlight in Megabox has some beautiful ones and will be cheaper than Bumps to Babes.
Also Wing On in Sheung Wan had some nice wraps last time I was there, from the Living Essentials range, though I can't remember exactly if they were the muslin ones or cotton flannel.
I found, like you, that for my summer baby the flannel or jersey wraps were too thick and hot. Only the thin muslin ones were cool enough.
