Help! Looking for good pediatric dentist in HK?
Despite my effort to clean them religiously everyday, my daughter's teeth are getting cavities. She said it hurts when she bites into something cold.
She is 2.5 now. I took her to a dentist (family dentist with an interest in children) for check-up, but she refused to open her mouth. After I noticed early signs of tooth decay (white decalcification spots and plague), I took her to the dentist again for teeth-cleaning. We tried everything, she still refused to open her mouth.
I'd like to take her to a pediatric dentist and hope they have special "tricks" or tools to deal with stubborn young children. Any recommendations will be much appreciated!

Try Dr Denise Giles. She used to be at the Adventist hospital, but now has gone into private practice in Central. Sorry I've lost her card, so hopefully someone here will be able to give you her number.

We go to Dr Lee at Pacific Dental.

They play cartoons for the kids to distract them. Works like a charm, even with my 5 year old.
Good luck!

I was at my dentist yesterday and she showed cartoons too. As an adult, I found it very soothing! But my purse did burn a little. I hardly ever paid for dental as my mum works as a dental assistant and yesterday was the first time that I actually paid for my treatments!
