Playmate for 2 year old girl on Southside

Newly arrived and our daughter misses her friends. She attends playgroup, but most of her classmates are Chinese boys who are not too keen on befriending her and most of the adults are helpers, not mums. Looking to find playmates for daughter (and mum!) in Repulse Bay/Stanley/Tai Tam.

I meet with a small group of mums on Thursday afternoons in the Stanley, Repluse Bay, Tai Tam area. We have kids aged from newborn to 3. Most of us have arrived in HK in the last few months. Happy for you to join us. My daughter is 18 months and son 3.5.


In addition I have just started going to a toddler group - just for mums and kids in Stanley - here is the info below.

The Toddler Group meets every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9.15am to 11.15am in the Chapel Annex of St Stephen?s College in Stanley. Children from one year old to three years old are welcome. A committee of parents runs the Group and each day a Mum (or Mums) is responsible for opening up and running that session. There is no formal structure to the sessions and each parent is responsible for the care and safety of their child/children. A snack will be served and each session ends in a group sing-song. All mothers attending are expected to help with setting up the toys at the beginning of the session, and tidying up at the end.
The fee for a single session is $60 per member and $65 for visitors. The fee for becoming a member of St Stephen?s Toddler Group is $780 comprising of a $300 registration fee and $480 for a book of 8 tickets. A ticket must be handed in at each session, and in order to retain your membership we ask you to attend a minimum of two sessions per calendar month.
