    C-section

Can anyone advise on who would be a good doctor for a complicated (non-elective) c-section in HK. This would be our second baby and my obgyn has advised not to do VBAC. There were a lot of complications with the first C-section so we need someone who is both competent and reassuring. A tall order, I know. Thanks much.

Go for quality of care over anything else - if you know that it's going to be complicated, your safety is the most important. GO to Lucy Lord 28240822. She is usually not the most reassuring person, but she's the best high risk OB/GYN in HK.

Dr Ghosh is also good when it goes to complications. Both Drs are listed in the Geobaby directory.

Hi, I think you should go to see Dr Joe Chan. He is very good, patient and caring. His surgical technique is very good. I have a no. of friends delivered by him, both vaginally and by C-section and they are all very satisfy with him. His no. is 25233328.

Grace Cheung at Lucy Lord Practice in Central (also in Repulse Bay and once a month at Island Health in Discovery Bay). She did my non elective c section (various reasons), and it appeared the cord was twice around my baby girl's neck! The op was 5 min to get my baby, and 30 mins to stitch me up. Healed like a dream. Now 2 months after you can hardly see it, no infections, smooth surface and can hardly feel the scar. Grace knows her stuff very well but is not a touchy feely type of person.

    Hope this helps.
    A

I would also be having a C- section

    Hi

I would also be having a c-section due to comnplication. I found Dr Hon he is really great and very caring and patient.

He will also explain things in details.

If you like I could give you his contact.
