floor padding
i have a small area in the flat that i'd like to make a play area out of, i'm looking for floor padding for the area, something like the ones they have at the playgroups or baby gyms. i had the ABCs from Japan City but found that they are too many pieces to take out and clean.
ideally, i'd like something padded, plastic, but in much bigger pieces, so cleaning is just wiping it down or pulling the whole or a few pieces out to clean the floor underneath.
any ideas on where i can get or custom-made that?

Wise kids has this big floor puzzle, just solid bright colors.
Big and easy to take them off for cleaning.

you can go to the street market to get Winnie the Pooh or Mickey and friends floormates. 4 pieces in a pack, cost ony like 70$ per pack. it is very bright colour and easy to clean and fold.

Friends have just ordered from them and they are the same as what I ordered a year ago. Good quality and consistent in quality.

Bumps to Babes also do an interlocking mat; each piece is about 80 - 90cm square. Quite nice colours but pricer at about $500+. Good quality foam though.

I have the ABC tiles and I love them. I also like them because you can break them apart and put half in one room and half in another room. My son is 6 months and loves the texture and colors. They look like the below, just with letters on them. Toys R US and Eugene's have them:
