Hormone Imbalance Doctor
Hello.
I have a multi-faceted question to ask.
I am looking for a recommendation for a doctor that deals with hormonal imbalances.
Also, it is preferable that this doctor has at least some understanding or experience with the fertility tenets of natural family planning (i.e. charting cycles, looking for peaks and troughs in estrogen and progesterone levels) and very ideally they would have some understanding/background with The Creighton Method. http://www.creightonmodel.com/index.html
I am looking for a doctor who is not extremely expensive. My price range for consultation is 500-700 HKD.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! I really appreciate it!

Have any of you ladies out there who have had problems with infertility or have been treated with fertility treatments discussed with your doctor hormonal issues or was hormonal issues a key in your treatment? Did they take a look at your hormone production prior to starting treatment? If so, can you recommend a doctor who has experience with this?

I use Dr. Kingston Tseng, number 23773323. He is in Austin Road, Kowloon and worked with my OBGYN through my pregnancy. He adjusted hormonal levels to get me pregnant. I tried 3 others before him, I am not sure if he is the best but he is very nice and thoughtful and works hard to help you. Also not too expensive compared to the ones I saw in Central.

You could try Central Health (Dr Lucy Lord's practice). I believe they now have a fertility specialist working as a consultant with them. His name escapes me now, but he is/was working at Prince of Wales hospital. Not sure of the consultation fee, but you could always give them a ring to check - 2824 0822.

HI again,
I wasn't aware that it was exclusive as that isn't my thing. He does deal with diabetics, but many hormonal imbalances which cause infertility are linked to insulin resistance which seemed to be my issue. I wasn't referred to him for diabetes, but he helped. The receptionists are a little bit inaccessible so you may want to ask for him to call you. Hope it helps!
