Playgroup/Coffee group Happy Valley
Hi
Have just moved to Hong Kong from NZ and are based in Happy Valley. I have 2 girls - a 3 year old and a 17 mth old. Not sure if there is a local playgroup as am still finding my feet. It would be great to meet other mums - as would help my sanity - and would also mean that the girls can have some playdates and make some new friends.

Heya
Depending on timing, I would be able to catch up. I am free between 12 pm to 3 pm-ish most days (except Wednesday this week).
I live in Jardine's Lookout but I take the kids to the free indoor playground in Happy Valley from time to time because my kids love it so much. I have a 4 year old daughter and 18 month old son.. I'm originally from Auckland, but moved here from OZ 3 months ago.

Sounds fine to me. :)
Did you want to meet at the indoor playground (It closes from 1 to 2 pm for cleaning apparently)? Or grab a drink or something first?
I'll only have my son, so it will be a little easier for me. ;)
I've sent you a priv msg with my contact details.
Look forward to catching up!
Lisa
p.s. Anyone else out there want to join in?

It is in the leisure/sports centre on Yuk Sau Street, diagonally opposite Wellcome.
The indoor playgrounds are on the 4th floor (it is the same building as the library, one floor up). You take the lift up.
There are 2 playgrounds.. one for 3 years and under in a 'converted' squash court, and another for over 3's which has a small climbing structure and slides. Every couple of hours they disinfect the playrooms.
The rooms aren't huge, but they're free and quite convenient... and so far of the ones I have been to, Happy Valley is the best. They are air conditioned, so a good place to take the kids to escape the heat and humidity.
Another wonderful person on these forums told me about them.. and they became an excellent way for my children and I to escape the heat but still let the kids have fun.
