How much milk does a 4mth old need?
My baby feeds anywhere from 24-31oz per day. Is this "normal"? I only bottle feed her 5.5oz on demand, but sometimes she finishes it, sometimes not. Should I wake her up to feed her? She's sleeping so much she skips meals sometimes! Help!

The amount your baby drinks sounds about right. (The amounts published by the formula companies are always too much ? it is in their intersts that you over feed your baby.)
So don't worry too much about the amount that goes in. Look instead at what your baby does with the milk. Is your baby growing well? Is she meeting the milestones that you would expect? Can she hold her head up and is she smiling?
Best wishes,

Thanks Sarah! Actually, I'm referring to formula only....feed as much as she takes making sure she's gaining weight? Is that the key?
