getting a helper
hi everyone!
I'm helpless with my present maid, who has been working for us for 2 months. she is always forgetting things and making mistakes again and again.
She cant cook not even for my 2 year old, and i m worried as she is going to be alone with my son at home, Sometimes. i just get so frustrated with her that i don't even want to have her around the house, she just seems not learning even when i explain things again and again to her.
is there anyone who knows of a better employment agency in Hong KOng?
Please advice!

a person's work ability and work ethic as well as a person's common sense and know-how have not much to do with the employment agency that you use.
if you have used an agency for your current helper, you should be able to request more interviews and a replacement. you do not have to pay the agency fee again, rather, you just pay the processing fees. (immig, consulate etc)

HI Caragan,
Thanks for your reply, but from the present agency that I use, it's already the second helper that i get from them, still when there was problem with the first one and i ask for a replacement, they took 7 months to give me this present one, but who is more or less the same.
Desperate!!!

that sucks!
why don't you look on the website for dollarsaver? or try the "other" xpat website (they have an agency)... the only thing is that these two places cater for expats, so the prices demanded by these helpers might be higher than minimum wage...
