    Toddlers Favourite Sandwiches?

    My son hates sandwiches!

BUT I will be making some for a friend's party soon so wondering what are some of your toddlers' favourite sandwiches?

Would butter/cheese sandwiches be too simple? Should I use cream cheese or cheese slices? And, if I make them a day ahead will they dry out?

All advice most welcome! Thank you!!

My 2 yr old loves pinwheel sandwiches, he says they look like Thomas wheels. Very easy to make, take 2 slices of bread, flatten them a bit with a rolling pin, then spread whatever filling you like. Line them up with slight overlap & roll. Cling-fill for 15-20 mins & you've got a neat sandwich roll. Slice with sharp knife & you'll get some nice looking wheels.

My sons loves it with peanut butter & jam, cream cheese with jam, hummous, or tuna mayo with avocado. Have fun!

i wouldn't make sandwiches a day in advance since they do tend to dry out, especially since the humidity is so low and the fridge will make it worse.

ham and cheese is always popular with my kids at school, nutella is very popular - but I'm not sure what the other moms will think !:) have fun!

You can make pinwheel sandwhiches with tortillas as well, a bit easier and flattening all the bread. For a party I once a made sandwiches and then I used a large animal cookie cutter to make aminals. The children loved it, but it does waste a lot of the bread

oh man. XD here i go... sweet stuff:

    nutella with banana.
    nutella with crushed up cornflakes
    nutella with sprinkles.
    .

you could use peanut butter but some kids hate the stuff. and for savoury...

butter/cheese spread with crushed up potato chips.
    shaved ham and sliced cheese.
tuna with bacon. (it sounds gross but my nephew loves it o_o)
    pepparoni with grated cheese.
    egg mayo.

    i make "bread pizzas"

baguette bread sliced in half length-wise and then in large pieces

    pizza sauce
    sliced ham
    mushrooms
    pineapple
    mozza cheese

pop it in the oven (even a little table-top oven will work) for a few minutes and away we go!

both of my kids LOVE them!
