Woollen Coat or Down Jacket for 14 month old boy
It's freezing so I want to buy my 14 month old son a woollen coat or warm down jacket as quickly as possible! I have tried Zara, Togs Unlimited and H&M to no avail. I am specifically looking for a very warm coat or jacket as opposed to just a hooded top or cotton knit jumper as my little one loves to play outside in the freezing cold. Has anyone purchased anything like this recently and, if so, where??

sherwes,
I haven't seen them lately either.
Have you tried the Morley 100% Merino Wool underwear for your baby? My 18 months boy is wearing it everyday with a sweater and a jacket if we go out. He hates to wear big and thick that restrains him from moving freely.
btw, Sogo & Apita carries them.

Have you gone to the 4th floor of Princes Building where all the children's shops are?

Simon, I've called Mothercare and there are no down/puffer jackets left in HK!
Southside, I haven't checked stores other than the ones I have mentioned. The purpose of my post was to try to find out whether anyone had purchased something fitting my description recently so that I don't have to look in every shop (I am a typical time poor mummy - like you I am sure!!). Have you seen these types of jackets at Stanley (usually when I go there they have hoodies or raincoats but not woollen jackets or down jackets)?

Chickeeduck has some very cool looking down jackets, definitely worth a look.

I had exactly the same problem as mu bub spends a lot of time outside at the park with the dog. After looking everywhere (Stanley and all the places you list), I found one at the bennetton outlet at Tung Chung. Wind/water proof and lined with fleece (and pretty). They had a reasonable selection and as Louisouis says, I think the Chickee Duck there did as well (more woollen jackets though). The other brand that I find does good jackets is Comme Ca (Princes building and Lee Gardens) - but I haven't checked there recently.
