    Playtown

i just wanted to let everyone know... we went there today. there must have been 100+ kids there at the time.

we spent over 2.5 hours there and my kids LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

it didn't feel crowded. there was enough space for kids and parents. there was so much for the kids to do! it was difficult getting my kids to leave. (they are 2 & 4.)

    i would HIGHLY recommend it!

    go! have fun!

We went on Tuesday, also first time. Kids loved it as well, quite busy but not too busy at all. However, I still find it quite expensive, had to pay $320 for 3 kids (2 under 3 and 1 over 3 and it was public holiday / weekend). I wouldn't do it every week, but definitely great to do once in a while. We went to McDonalds for lunch downstairs and then back in for another hour.

yes, i agree. it's not something i could do every week, or even every two weeks... especially as we live so far, but i really liked it.

i said to hubby that i find when i go to ocean park, which we love, when it's very busy, i get a little anxious and stressed, however at playtown, i found it very relaxing for me and exhausting for the kids....

    ps> i'm hoping for a 6:30pm bedtime tonight(for the kids)! LOL!

Playtown is great, isn't it? We love it, too. I love the fact that mommies can actually sit down and talk/relax there, while the kids have a blast. :)

I know! My friend and I were just talking about how almost every mommy that we know has dreamed of starting something like this, but here is one mommy who actually did something about it! :)

Cara --you have your playgroup, though. Close! :)

i figure that the rent there must be at least $200K +... i think that the fittings must have set her back another cool million or so...

    what do you think?
