Pigeon nasal suction
Has anyone seen this product or something similar sold in HK? [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Aspirator-Vacuum-Suction-Pigeon-Pre-order/dp/B0015TM0M6[/ame]
I heard it works great to clean up baby's stuffed nose. Thanks a lot!

Eugene Club has a wide variety of these. I find the other brands more effective than the Pigeon nasal suction thing. Get the ones that come with a two tubes where one end goes to the baby's nostril and the other tube goes into your mouth where you "suck".
Don't worry, it's not as gross as it sounds. Whatever comes out of your baby's nose goes into this little canister to which the two tubes are attached.

I agree with Buckeroo - I bought the Pigeon brand initially and it was useless. Then I got one with the 2 tubes - I can't remember the name of the brand but it's Japanese and it has a picture of a blue peguine on it, and it is very effective in getting the fluid out of my son's nose when he has the flu. It's also very easy to clean and use.

Yes, agree. I had a pigeon sucker, just used it once and found it useless.

When you use these suction products, does your baby not resist? I have the Pigeon one and have such a hard time even getting the thing in my son's nose to start with, that I am in no position to know whether it's effective or not!
I'd be happy to buy the mouth-suction option, but I'm just wondering whether it would work any better when my baby is so actively opposed to anything getting near his nostrils.
Just curious to know how other babies generally react to these suction gadgets - or if anyone has any suggestions on how to get initially resisting babies to accept them.
