Hi Neha,
For shopping I would recommend Hamley's toy store on Regent Street. It has about 4 floors of toys and your little boy will love it.

For activities I can recommend:
London Zoo

A Big Bus tour is always fun and you get to see most of the city

The London Eye

London Aquairium

Hope this helps and enjoy your trip

In addition to Karmah1:
1. Hyde Park (or any of the parks) are spectacular especially when you live in HK), Hampstead's Heath
2. Check exhibits at the Tate Modern as last year they had an installation with slides set up (kid sizes to adults) which was great.
3. Check what's playing in the West End for theater - they could be running some kid-friendly shows.
4. Some parks have adventure playgrounds.

5. Science Museum
6. Madame Tussauds
