penalty/late clause for contractor
I am wanting to include a late clause in an agreement that I am making with a renovator but don't know where to start writing one or how much to charge.
Does anyone have one that I can use as a starting point please?
Basically, I am giving this person a lot of money to deliver the works - if he is late that I want some kind of penalty as it will cost me money.
Many thanks

no advice... are you renovating here or in oz?

Hi c
In Oz. We ended up not being able to buy in HK! Looooong story. Stupid HSBC as I have since found out that they could have loaned us the money through the Aust HSBC at the HK rate but they didn't tell us at the time and so we lost the deal.
But the clause/para will be the same in either country. Just the amounts will change.
