we used two sets of drawer cabinets from Ikea. those with 4 drawers, orignally meant for bedroom and clothes i think, up to about adult waist height, and then we compartmentalized inside (i'm virgo :p), wherever possible at least. I'm surpised two cabinents can actually take in quite a bit of toys. They can still access most of the toys. The cabinets also have the top surface areas, to neatly stack more toys :)
