Baby Laundry - okay to use only cold water?
Is it okay to wash baby's laundry (and also adults clothing, bedding and linens) in only cold water? Would the cold water be adequate to kill germs/bacteria and to remove stains?
Thanks. :)

I have always only washed baby clothes in cold water with liquid (I found powders leave 'bits' on the clothes). I think detergents mixed with the water get them clean enough for a bub to wear.

I think bedding, linen and towels should be washed at 60 degree's to kill germs and bacteria. I wash our clothes and the baby's at 40 degree's, but cold should also be OK.

I wash everything in cold water except for items that baby has pooed on. Any pooey items I soak in hot water with Nappisan for a few hours or overnight and then wash at 60 degrees.
