Bleach milk! Can you believe it?
Today's headline has turned me to speechlessly furious. An Indonesian maid tried to feed a 9-m-old with bleach milk after she has been notified to be terminated. the 9-m-old baby girl struggled and refused to drink, and the grandma checked the bottle and found that the milk was "bleached"......
Gosh! how could such a person survive on earth? She should be prisoned for the rest of her life (in her own country, not to waste HK taxpayers' $).
Please, those with a full time helper, keep a very good eye on the helpers. I just can't trust them.

Very shocking indeed. But I would suggest to pay for the one month notice instead of keeping them in the house after they have been terminated, esp. if one has children.
I was chatting to my helper the other day and she told me some helpers would 'retaliate' if their employers are very mean to them, by dipping their toothbrush into toilet water, or stiring their underpants into the soup or spitting into the soup...I don't know how to take these myself...It's just such a good luck thing to land ourselves with a good one with good moral and work ethics.
I've found building a friendly and open/frank work relationship is working out for us. My helper is very relaxed(not tense) in our place. Because she has high standard towards her own work, I don't need to point out anything. I can easily imagine that I would go insane if I had to constantly and vigilantly monitor her...

Oh, just noticed you have to be registered to read it. Sorry.
Yeah...sheesh...it seems you can't trust anyone nowadays--even the people you assume you should be able to.
