absolutely! whenever we find clothes we have outgrown or no longer need i always:
1) ask friends who i think i might find the items/clothing useful especially baby items. i ask my friends who have kids that are @ 6 months younger than my son.
2) ask my helper if she would like them
3) donate to either the charity bin my building or donate to the Salvation Army in Stanley Market.
Without fail, I always make room for the new stuff without every touching the rubbish bin!

I agree with Fee - I have been decluttering and was surprised when my helper said she wants the floor lamp that I was about to dispose - she said she would ship it back!

if you have big pieces of furniture that can be reused, Crossroads International is the place to call. They collect lots of products and donate it to people in places around the world that really need it (they will actually come to get the goods if you have enough). Welcome to the Crossroads Foundation — Crossroads Global Distribution
