    Baby monitor?

Any recommendation? I guess the key is low background noise and reasonable price ? Or any other aspects I should pay attention? Which brand is good? Anyone has old ones to sell? ....

We love our Tomy monitor - we sleep right next to our son, but door is closed. it's basic and easy to use.

Are these baby monitors REALLY useful/necessary pls? How much do they cost, roughly?

i am not sure about the prices, but the ones with the screen are obviously much more.

i think it depends what kind of person you are. if you think you'll be the type to check your baby every second, then maybe the screen is worth it. our baby slept in our room for the first two months in a cot, then we moved him to his own room. those first two months, i might have benefitted from the screen monitors i think.....

    Did you check ToysRus online?
    Saw some in the store.

I bought one in the US without monitor, she slept upstairs but was fine.
Is depend on your house size as well.

If you really need one, you can also have one to connect on PC.

i jubt bought one in Eugene store, it's called MomSee. price is around $1800, it has both view & sound, pity good reception as my apartment is more than 1000ft. you can go and have a look in eugene store (in Central, next to H&M, very convenient)
