Who is your medical insurer and why?

    Hi

I am pretty close to deciding between AXA, BUPA or Healthcare Int and wanted to get some feedback from other parents with young kids as to who they use and why chose/eliminated them.

Everyone pretty much has the same things on offer so it makes it hard to distinguish.

    Many thanks

We went with Healthcare Int'l as it had the best cover, and premiums are reasonable. However, we haven't put in a claim yet.

AXA - policy seems quite reasonable and my service agent , recommended by my colleague to me is pretty professional. He will do annual review for you. I am quite happy with the service so far.

A friend has suggested an agent. She came up with the same ones I had been looking at independently so I am pleased from that point of view.

Have you considered IHI or Interglobal?

Have you used either of these? What makes them different than the others? Thanks

I want to kick BUPA in the face. They are disputing 3 out of 4 claims I sent them. And they want a GP`s referral letter before they will accept a claim from a Paed. Ridiculous. I wouldn`t sign up with them.

Thanks Shenzhennifer. This is the type of stuff I am after. The BUPA plan I was looking at has a card attached that you just give the GP and you don't have to pay up front. Do you use one of these?
