Hi matty
How did it work at 18 months? How do you get them to stay there??

Perserverence.
It takes a few tries the first few times, but it's amazing how much they understand.

what do you do in a public place when there is no "naughty step" so to speak off. My son seems to know that in the house he needs to behave but once we are outside, he always acts up and I could use some advice on how to handle the situation...
Tx!

I found that when you are out, you can improvise with a 'naughty corner'
any corner will do.
I used a phone box once in Sai Kung, couldn't believe how well it worked.

My little girl is a thrower too. She is 18 months. You are not alone.
