What to do with Breastmilk?
Returning to work in a couple of weeks and have a business trip line up. I have been expressing and freezing my milk - so no problem for little one while I am away.
But I want to continue breastfeeding her for another 3 months. So, I need to keep expressing and would very much like to bring the milk home rather than throw away.
Any suggestion?
thanks

how long is your business trip? if it is only a few days, you may be able to ask the hotel to freeze it for you, then take a thermal bag with you to bring it home.
however:
1) if they cannot freeze it, you will have to throw it away
2) if the trip is for longer than a few days, then you may have too much to bring it all back

Look at this thread, I did look into a dry ice option and think the problem was that it was not readily available in the country I was in. If you are going somewhere like the US or UK, it might be easy to get.

Thanks Carang and LeahH. I have read the extensive and helpful thread
My trip would be a week across 2/3 cities in China. I would need to arrange my meeting around my EBM schedule (if possible!), and explore if the hotel can provide freezer.
Does anyone know if frozen EBM that is slightly thaw (during the flight back home) can be refrozen?
