    Changing table

    Dear members,

We are beginning to prepare the baby's room and all we need is a changing table/dresser...does anyone have one for sale or can recommend a place to get one?....reasonably priced of course.

    many thanks,
    C 7more weeks...

I bought mine in Ikea, the Spolling one. It was quite cheap compared to big brands, and it was the safest on Ikea catalogue. It's very large, easy to fold if you need to save space, easy to wash as well.

I wouldn't spend too much money on a change table, we also went to IKEA but bought the SNIGLAR change table. We only used it for the first 4 months after that we found it easier to change him on the bed or floor, especially when he started moving and wriggling about alot.

I bought a changing table but ended up changing my newborn on the bed with a waterproof changing mat.

I have one from Ikea that is a dresser on the bottom, change tablt on top and had a hutch, the change table folds up when you are finished with diapers and looks like part of the hutch, you would never ever guess that is it actually a change table. Also, as a change table, the fold out table portion makes the baby lie with feet towards you, instead of sideways like most of them, and I found it easier to change diapers that way, rather that sideways.
